Play NYC has gotten bigger and better every year. It’s got more exhibitors, more attendees, and more space than ever before, and this year’s convention had more than one stand-out hit.
There’s a group of games, a very selective group, that seem to have been made for just one purpose; to make you feel like the star of an action movie.
To take on Katana Zero simply as a review would be doing this game a disservice. Is it lovely in all its pixelated glory? Yes, without a doubt; its setting paints an evocative and atmospheric, post-war dystopia.
